What it usually is
Most installs are a swap of wiring to a new device. Some systems need a wire the old thermostat did not use, and we tell you before we start.
What to do first
Turn the system off at the breaker before you open anything, and take a photo of the wires on your current thermostat.
The flat rate that covers it
- Smart thermostat / video doorbell install: $129
Des Moines is a Puget Sound waterfront city with a marina, hillside homes and a mix of mid-century and newer housing. Des Moines homes on the bluff and near the water can be on slopes with long sewer runs, and salt air is hard on exposed fittings.
