In Lakewood
Lakewood is a Pierce County city of mostly mid-century single-family homes, with lakes and wooded lots throughout.
Mid-century homes around Lakewood commonly still have original drain and supply lines in service, and repairs tend to reveal how they have aged.
Lakewood's tree-covered lots give roots plenty of chances to find an older sewer line, and ramblers there often have only one cleanout.
