About garbage disposal in Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor is a waterfront city across the Narrows from Tacoma with a mix of older harbor-area homes and many newer neighborhoods.

Newer Gig Harbor kitchens usually have an existing disposal connection and a dishwasher knockout already in place, which keeps replacement quick and clean.

A $79 diagnosis visit is credited toward the job when we do the work, so checking whether yours is repairable costs nothing extra if you go ahead.

Homes near the water can see more corrosion on exposed fittings, and we point it out when we see it.

What happens on the job

Remove the old disposal and clean the mounting area
Install your new unit with the existing electrical connection and drain
Check the dishwasher drain connection if there is one
Run water and test the unit for leaks and noise
