In North End
Tacoma's North End is mostly older single-family homes on leafy streets, with Craftsman and early-1900s houses that have been updated over the years.
Older homes in North End may have older wiring, and a job that looks simple can show something unexpected, which we tell you about before going further.
Older North End houses often keep some original pipe behind remodeled walls, so it is worth knowing what is actually in the wall before a fixture swap.
