In Des Moines
Des Moines is a Puget Sound waterfront city with a marina, hillside homes and a mix of mid-century and newer housing.
Mid-century homes around Des Moines commonly still have original drain and supply lines in service, and repairs tend to reveal how they have aged.
Des Moines homes on the bluff and near the water can be on slopes with long sewer runs, and salt air is hard on exposed fittings.
